Historic Arkansas Museum’s mission to document, interpret, and preserve the state’s creative legacy and early history continues to be the guiding principle behind its collections. Since the creation of the Arkansas Made project over forty years ago, the museum has committed to collecting original works by Arkansas artists and artisans and objects made in the state. Historic Arkansas Museum is now the state’s premier repository of historic and contemporary Arkansas Made fine, decorative, and mechanical art.
