Learn the art of building up a social media presence and following that will propel your artistic career and put you in front of more arts supporters.

Join us for this comprehensive guide tailored for creatives and aimed at expanding your social media practice during an in-person event 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, at Arkansas Heritage, located at 1100 North St. in Little Rock.

Participants will learn essential strategies for creating engaging content, understanding platform algorithms, finding out which platforms best meet their needs, and utilizing analytics to track and enhance their reach. The session covers effective use of visual storytelling, hashtag optimization, and community engagement techniques.

Attendees will also explore collaboration opportunities with influencers and other artists, as well as tips for maintaining authenticity and consistency. By the end of the workshop, artists will be equipped with practical tools and insights to grow a dedicated and interactive social media following, ultimately enhancing their visibility and career prospects. The workshop will include space for some hands-on development to showcase apps and techniques artists can use to garner more attention and create higher-quality content.

About the Facilitator

Ebonie Anderson, aka Miss Pinky, is a native Arkansan who is a gifted singer, poet, model, actress, musician and performer who has garnered national attention. She has opened for artists such as Tyrese, Black Sheep, Pimp C, Biz Markie, Sinbad and more. She has performed before audiences of 40,000-plus and has been an actress on the TV series Bayou City Kings. She has been a runway model and has been featured in blogs, magazines, TV programs and more. In her personal life, Miss Pinky uses her arts to provide care for her grandfather. Her work as an artist and caregiver has been repeatedly highlighted in local newspapers, magazines and TV news. Her social media presence includes 13.6K followers on Instagram, 47K followers on Facebook, and has garnered 23.2 million views on TikTok, where she has 43.7K followers.
