Come honor artists, arts educators, and arts supporters during the Governor’s Arts Awards at noon Friday, March 7, at the Robinson Center, 426 W. Markham St., Little Rock.
Tickets to attend the luncheon are $40 each. Ticket sales begin January 1, 2025, and the deadline to purchase tickets is February 24, 2025.
2025 awardees are:

- TheatreSquared of Fayetteville - Arts in Education Award
- Proctor & Gamble in Fayetteville- Corporate Sponsorship of the Arts Award
- Northwest Arkansas Handweavers Guild in Springdale - Folklife Award
- Suzanne Underwood Rhodes of Fayetteville - Individual Artist Award
- The Dulcimer Shoppe in Mountain View - Judges Recognition Award
- Brigita Gardner of Roland - Patron Award
- Becky Witsell of Little Rock - Lifetime Achievement Award
Governor’s Arts Awards recipients are annually nominated by the public, then selected by an independent panel of arts professionals from around the state. Nominees are judged, in part, on the significance of their contributions and achievements in the arts.
Short films about the award recipients will be unveiled during the ceremony. Artists and arts patrons will speak about their work and accept one-of-a-kind artworks created by glass artist Ed Pennebaker of Clinton, Arkansas.
