Join us for a friendly competition for the best historic home brew in town, with live music by the Delta Brass Express

Brewers take history for their inspiration— perhaps using a 19th century recipe, ingredient or method—to create something modern for us to stand, or drink, in judgement of. Yes, visitors may sample the entries and help decide the People’s Choice Award by popular vote. A panel of chosen beer enthusiasts will determine the Taster’s Choice Award. This year’s selection of 15 beers from 9 teams include historic styles from Mexico, Korea, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and the U.S. 

In addition to all the beer tasting, we’ll have live music in the balcony café and another kind of “Hop Off” on the historic grounds—sack races! A treat full of carbs, if you haven’t had enough, is promised in the Brownlee Kitchen.
