This summer, history lovers have the opportunity to work with SARA and learn all about the archival process!
Duties
Interns will gain experience arranging, describing and preserving archival collections and other duties assigned. Work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. starting May 30 through August 5.
Requirements
Interns must have the ability to work with attention to detail and basic knowledge of historical research methods. The applicant should have a college degree or a degree in process in history or a related field and should be at least 18 years of age.
Compensation
The period of the internship will be paid $3,000 by SARA Foundation, Inc. plus housing and utilities provided by Historic Washington State Park. Paid sick and vacation leave are not provided.
