The nomination period for the 2021 Arkansas Food Hall of Fame, the statewide program that recognizes what’s great about Arkansas food, has closed and the results are quite astounding! In the month of October, Arkansas Heritage accepted nominations in five categories and we’re happy to report that we received over 2000 nominations, more than double last year’s count.  

Further, for the second year in a row, we received nominations from all 75 Arkansas counties with heavy representation in all areas of the state.

So what are the next steps in the 2021 Arkansas Food Hall of Fame process?

AFHOF Committee votes on the finalists in four categories

The AFHOF Selection Committee chooses the 2020 class

The finalists are announced on Monday, January 25

The winners will be announced on Monday, February 22
