Kyle Lapham has been named as the new ANHC Chief of Acquisitions and Stewardship. Lapham most recently worked at SunPro Solar as a solar designer, but prior to that was the Arkansas Fire Manager for The Nature Conservancy (TNC) where he worked for almost 15 years in various positions. Lapham has a bachelor of science degree in geography/environmental studies from the University of Iowa.
While the largest portion of Lapham’s job at TNC was spent managing prescribed fire, he also performed additional stewardship duties. He worked to control invasive plants, maintained and installed signs, conducted equipment maintenance, staff training, and other land management tasks, many of which were on natural areas through ANHC’s partnership with the TNC Arkansas Field Office.
Lapham and his wife, Jessie have two daughters, Norah and Lena. He has always loved being outdoors and enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, and camping with his family. Lapham even proposed marriage to Jessie at Sweden Creek Falls Natural Area in Madison County.
