Now in its 15th season, the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra (TSO) under Music Director Philip Mann has become a major resource for professional music and musicians in Southwest Arkansas and far Northeast Texas. Performing primarily in the historic Perot Theatre, the Orchestra presents a series of classical masterworks, symphonic pops, educational and family concerts during its September through May season. In addition, the TSO’s is the parent organization of the Texarkana Youth Symphony Orchestra the only such ensemble for students in Southwest Arkansas.
The Texarkana Symphony Orchestra’s dedication to our community is evident in its numerous run-out, collaborative and outreach performances each year. Whether it's a string core for a university choral performance, a quartet for the unveiling of a visual arts exhibit, or the full orchestra for your 50th anniversary, TSO is ready to match your audience with great classical, pops, chamber, or family repertoire. TSO musicians, staff, and Maestro Bougie, can also provide educational outreach programs to schools, community clubs and civic organizations.
