I am a painter, a muralist, and a lifelong native of Arkansas. I often draw inspiration from nature, from hiking in the Ozarks to reminiscing about my childhood. Growing up in the rural timberlands of the Delta, the forest became my escape. My work is both playful and symbolic, often using vibrant colors to convey a sense of nostalgia. Recently my work has helped me process patterns in our world in a way that feels like a romanticized, childhood memory. I am currently fascinated by the concept of innocence and the impact this has on my understanding of myself and others. My work helps to bring new life into communal spaces for all people, while focusing on the cultural and societal impact of public art.
