Arkansas Artist Registry

The online Arkansas Artist Registry is a free service provided to the visual arts community. Visual artists may post contact information, a link to their website and display up to 10 images of their work. The registry does not include films at this time.

Benefits:

It is an excellent tool for visual artists who would like a web presence, and for arts enthusiasts and supporters to discover the rich variety of visual artists in Arkansas.
Artist Registry members receive our e-newsletter and e-blasts as well as information about workshops, competitions, calls for entry and other postings. Members are also eligible to participate in Small Works on Paper, the annual juried visual art exhibition sponsored by the Arkansas Artist Registry.

My current work reflects my desire to created layered glass patterns along with incorporating pattern bars and tapestry strips to create thick glass pieces. The inspiration for color combinations come from nature. The weight and thickness of the finished glass is important to me. I enjoy combining multiple techniques into a single piece. The challenge of blending these techniques and having the completed work successful has been satisfying. When you pick up one of my pieces I want you to feel the weight. I think it creates both a visual and sensory experience. I create one-of-a-kind pieces. No two are ever duplicated. These gives me the freedom to continually explore techniques and the buyer the knowledge that they own a custom designed piece created exclusively for them.
