THE ARTIST REGISTRY IS CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR SUBMISSIONS OR REGISTRATION.

The online Arkansas Artist Registry is a free service provided to the visual arts community. Visual artists may post contact information, a link to their website and display up to 10 images of their work. The registry does not include films at this time.

Benefits:

It is an excellent tool for visual artists who would like a web presence, and for arts enthusiasts and supporters to discover the rich variety of visual artists in Arkansas.
Artist Registry members receive our e-newsletter and e-blasts as well as information about workshops, competitions, calls for entry and other postings. Members are also eligible to participate in Small Works on Paper, the annual juried visual art exhibition sponsored by the Arkansas Artist Registry.

My work is best described as narrative with an emphasis on figuration. I create visual narratives where people and animals, sometimes together and sometimes alone, interact within a constructed environment. Because my work includes forms that are biomorphic or ever-changing, there is a strong component of movement. My work is often described as dark. While this does reflect an existential angst common to myself and many artists, I also use low-key value to create a sense of magic, mystery, and wonder.
