Ring, ring goes the bell! It's school time again!

Area educators are invited to the Delta Cultural Center's annual Back to School Teacher's Reception on August 16, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. It is an excellent opportunity for us to celebrate the beginning of a new school year and express our appreciation for your dedication and hard work.

There will be refreshments! If you have any dietary restrictions or special needs, kindly let us know in advance. We hope this reception will be a chance for you to relax, connect with fellow educators, and enjoy a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

In addition to checking out our latest traveling exhibit titled Mr. Pruitt's Possum Town: Trouble and Resilience in the American South, area educators will also have time to discuss with our education department on how we can be of assistance in the upcoming school year.

This event is free, and all area educators are encouraged to attend.
