Chloe Cunningham is among three new employees to join the Arts Council this summer and has already started meeting with community leaders to help create programs for nonprofit organizations.

Chloe is Little Rock born-and-raised. She's a proud alumna of AmeriCorps and Hendrix College. Outside of work, she loves to spend time with her family and plan her next vacation.

We recently got a chance to catch up with Chloe as she learns the ins and outs of her new job.

Q: Why do you think the arts are important?

A: The arts are a key part of culture and the way we experience the world. Without art, we wouldn't be able to communicate all the weird and wonderful things about life.
