PRESIDENT OF FOX TELEVISION NETWORK TO APPEAR AT OLD STATE HOUSE MUSEUM

LITTLE ROCK--President of the FOX Television Network and Arkansas native, Ed Wilson, will be the special guest at this year’s Old State House Museum Associates (OSHMA) Annual Supper, Thursday, October 25, 2007, at 6:00 p.m. Admission is $100 per person, and special tables are available for this lively evening that will feature a silent auction and dinner.
Wilson, a native of Rison, Arkansas, joined Fox Broadcasting Company in 2004 as President of the FOX Television Network. In a career that spans over twenty years, he served as: President of NBC Enterprises, CEO of CBS Enterprises, Senior Executive with Columbia TriStar Television Distribution, and held positions with Paramount and Viacom. Wilson was also Sales Manager with KATV, the ABC affiliate in Little Rock.
OSHMA hosts the Annual Supper each autumn featuring historical, political or regional speakers. This event is held in the historic 1885 House of Representatives Chamber on the second floor of the Old State House. Previous speakers include: Rick Atkinson, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and military historian; Winston Spencer Churchill, English Member of Parliament; and General (Retired) Wesley Clark, former commander of NATO forces. The Annual Supper allows OSHMA to support programs and exhibits of the Old State House Museum, a museum of Arkansas history. Tickets and donations are tax deductible. About the Old State House Museum
The Old State House Museum is a museum of the Department of Arkansas Heritage and shares the goal of all seven Department of Arkansas Heritage agencies, that of preserving and enhancing the heritage of the state of Arkansas. The agencies are Arkansas Arts Council, Arkansas Historic Preservation Program, Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission, Delta Cultural Center in Helena, Historic Arkansas Museum, Mosaic Templars Cultural Center, and the Old State House Museum.
